We travel from West to East
Europe
Starting from the Netherlands, we are going straight to Eastern Europe
through Germany. It is the
part of Europe we have not explored yet. Also, we are Dutch, and Eastern
Europe has better
prices. We hope to reach Bucharest on August 11th to see the total
solar eclipse.
Middle East
The middle of the trip and the very beginning of civilizations. Here
it will be harder to keep
in touch with our family, but then again, we are closer to our far
ancestors. Marnix
however, is pulled directly from the Dutch clay.
Asia
If our bikes are still able to carry us, and we are still able to ride
them, our trip has been successful.
Here our roads will diverse. Altitude sickness will be tried out by
Arnoud and Mervin.
They plan to cross the Himalaya into China. Marnix and Joost will visit
Muttathara, South India.
