Amsterdam - Kathmandu - Beijing

We are four friends travelling from Amsterdam to India and China by bicycle 
between July 1st, 1999 and summer 2000. Cycling the route alongside rivers, 
across mountains and through many cities and villages gives us the opportunity 
to explore Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Turkey, 
Iran, Pakistan and India. In India we split up; Marnix and Joost continue to the 
South of India. Mervin and Arnoud continue their trip to Beijing, China. The 
theme of our journey; Ongoing Cultures; Cycling along the dividing line is 
shortened as Occ. An explanation is given at the 'stories' section.
